State Approved Certification Programs

New Horizons' approach to fulfilling the training needs of individuals in transition is as unique as each individual. We provide customized solutions for our adult learners. We currently maintain 23 structured programs in the DCS state system that are approved and sanctioned under the section 30 rules and regulations in the State of Massachusetts.

Our learning strategy is built around a time-tested learning cycle, and is designed to guide students through each stage of the process, using a combination of instructor-led training, self-paced courses online, and interactive online classes conducted in real time.

In this spirit, New Horizons ensures that our students have the time and resources to succeed. At inception, we review each student’s resume and develop a plan. Next, depending on each student’s specific career path and goals, we develop a solution, within the parameters of programs approved by the Division of Career Services, which will support and maximize 20 or more weekly hours of training, with built in flexibilities. We guide you through the process of obtaining your funding and section 30 approval and have you in a skill building program in just a couple weeks.
